Friends of FSH Research depends on volunteers for almost every aspect our work. Volunteers bring energy and new ideas, and have the satisfaction of actually making a difference.
Ways to Volunteer
- Assistance with day-to-day operations
- Help with planning and organization of events, projects and tasks
- Design or help with distribution of publicity materials
- Writing and editing our press releases, publicity materials, website, and Annual Fundraiser Auction Catalogue
- Assistance with Annual Fundraiser — FiSHing for a Cure Auction: decorating committee, registering attendees, staffing the silent auction, setup/cleanup, etc.
- Encourage friends, neighbors, and especially businesses to donate items or services to our Annual Fundraising Auction
- Assist staff with mailings
- Spread the word about our organization and our cause; encourage others to support us and to invest in FSH research so we can work toward a cure!
