SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACT

Describe your proposed research, description geared to a professional, scientific audience (maximum one page). This abstract will not be made public.

LAY ABSTRACT

Describe your proposed research in using non-technical language. If funded, the lay summary is to be used and published in appropriate places by Friends of FSH Research (maximum one page).

In both abstracts, the researchers should clearly establish the significance of their proposed research to the field of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy. Successful proposals will include information regarding 1) how this research specifically relates to FSHD 2) why existing resources do not permit this work to be done, and 3) how will this project will facilitate obtaining future independent funding.

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

A brief biographical sketch for all key personnel must be included. For the preliminary application the biographical sketch should be brief. In no more than one page per biography, it should demonstrate the Education and Training, Professional Experience, and Research Experience of each individual that will be involved.
