I am a trial lawyer recently retired from the law and am now pursuing a life-long interest in writing. I have served on other not-for-profit boards, most recently as chair of the board of Crosscut Public Media up until its merger with KCTS Channel 9.
My interest in FSH research is personal — I have the disease. I am fortunate that it is less severe in me than it is in some. I have been able to pursue my avocations of flying and long-distance sailing throughout my life, and I can still. Nevertheless, it would be nice to be able to take walks again without walking-sticks, to easily climb stairs and to stay out of a wheelchair.
