Matthew Cowley is a PhD student in electrochemical device modelling at the University of Bath, due to graduate in 2023. His background in building computational models and a keen interest in genetic diseases led him to a 3 month summer project in the Zammit laboratory at King’s College London, where he worked on statistically modelling DUX4 expression. Matt is continuing this project at King’s as a Research Assistant, supervised by Dr Chris Banerji and Prof. Peter Zammit.
